Swim Disputes

Events on club nights and during the Club Championships are controlled by the Club Referee, and any decisions in regard to disqualifications, penalties and a re-run of any event will be made at the sole discretion of the Club Referee.

The Club is bound by FINA (The International Swimming Body) and races are conducted under the rules made by this organization.

Races will only be re-run if the Club Referee deems that there has been a technical error, e.g.: Starter, timekeepers.

If any swimmer or parent is not happy with the decision of the Club Referee they can discuss this with the Club Referee at the end of the nights swimming. If they are not satisfied after this they can write to the committee no later than 14 days after the event and request that the matter be referred to a Disputes Committee.
